This month, Highlands Recreation District would like to shine a spotlight on Colleen Hahn! She is an early education teacher in the Tiger classroom. She is also the Curriculum Coordinator for the Early Education Center (EEC). Colleen began working in the EEC in 2019.
“My favorite part about working at the Rec is the tight knit community. I feel incredibly lucky to serve a community that is so supportive and uplifting. I am also very grateful for my amazing co-workers who have turned into family.”
Colleen shared that her hobbies include reading, singing, crafting charcuterie boards, and watching baseball! Her favorite color is red and enjoys eating tacos!
“A ‘fun fact’ about me is that when I entered college, I was a recording arts major with two demo CDs under my belt. I quickly switched to a Child Development major after taking a general education class and being hooked on the topic.”
We are grateful for all the wonderful, hard work that Colleen contributes to the Rec!
