Hello! My name is Debbie Labucay. I am thrilled to join the teaching team here at Highlands Early Education Center. I received my Bachelor's Degree in ECE from National University. I have been working with with young children since 1998.  This year will be my eighth year working with preschool. 

I have worked at the admin level for many years, but my heart calls me back to the classroom.  I am highly fascinated with watching and working with our youngest learners.  Helping to support each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

My husband and I have been married for 12 years. We have 2 energetic girls. We love to engage with our kids' through sports—Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, swim, and tennis. I also enjoy baking, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
