The Highlands Pool would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our pool patrons and families! The beginning of the year was rough with all of the electrical issues, but we are now back to full operations. The heater is working as it should and all the systems are running so we can get back to swimming! We cannot express how much we appreciate everyone’s patience while these issues were being resolved. Thank you again and hopefully we have some nice swimming ahead!

Changing Schedules on Saturday Lessons

Due to staff losses, we can no longer accommodate 3 swim lessons per time slot. We have to drop down to two lessons per time slot. While we are still trying to come up with the best scenario, there will be some changes being announced in the next few weeks. If the changes do not work for you, you are welcome to receive a district credit for later use or a full refund if it is before the class starts. We are exploring the idea of moving the group lessons as most of the private lessons have siblings enrolled. Keep an eye out for any emails from Dan Ryken, Aquatics Supervisor, to notify you of any changes.

THE POOL NEEDS YOU!

Whether you are a student looking for a fun job that works with school hours, a retired person who enjoys the water and enjoys being around kids, or looking to find a new passion and loves being in or around the water, we need you! We would really like to add to our Swim Lesson staff to better serve the community. Swim Lessons are important in teaching water safety and learning a healthy respect for the water. Plus, teaching lessons is FUN!! (You get to play games in the water!) Our current rates for teaching lessons can range from $19 to $25 per hour, and you only have to work 2-6 hours per week! Perfect for someone with a flexible schedule or looking to make some extra money. Please contact Dan or Rachel at the pool if you are interested. Paid training opportunities available!
