Greetings Families,

With the start of summer, we have been enjoying a lot of outside time. We love to bring activities we do inside to explore in our outdoor environment. We bring art, dramatic play, sensory, and building materials outdoors, giving the children a different experience with the same materials. Some children notice materials, like buildings, can make shadows outdoors or that art is hard to do when it is windy! This is a great learning experience because the children become aware of their surroundings and are forced to adjust and work around constraints within play. Problem solving also helps the children access their executive functioning skills, so they are equipped with tools to solve the dilemma!

Lastly, we also want to send a shout out to our graduating class of 2021! We will miss you and know you are all off to do great things!

Warmly,

The Tiger Team
