This month, the Tiger Class has been learning all about St. Patrick’s Day and leprechauns! Closer to the 17th, the children will brainstorm and create their own leprechaun traps with the hopes of catching one. In the midst of holiday festivities, we got a new class pet! Everyone in the class voted on what name they liked best and thus, we have our fish named Rainbow Violet Lafayette. With a new pet, came new responsibilities so the students came up with classroom jobs. These jobs include fish feeder, mask monitor, light helper, etc. The kids are learning great leadership skills while taking on these weekly roles and it helps them be included in their own classroom! We are eager to see how Tiger students will teach each other and become more responsible at school.
