This month, we’re shining a bright light on Amy Macasaet. Amy has been working at Highlands Recreation District for 4 and a half years. Amy is currently working in the After School Program and previously worked in the Chameleons room in the Early Education Center. Amy has been working in childcare for the past 12 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Rec! She loves to work with younger children because she likes to see growth in each child as they reach different milestones and to see their thought process. Amy loves the comradery of the Highlands, how everyone knows each other, and how the community feels like a family.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and baking. Right now, her family is currently enjoys watching Halloween movies. Their favorite is a toss-up between Hocus Pocus and a Nightmare Before Christmas. Amy’s favorite color is blue, and her favorite food is pizza!
Amy is a joy to work with and always has a positive attitude. Be sure to say hi when you see her!
