This month, Highlands Rec is shining the spotlight on Alexa Flores, who has been working at Highlands Rec for 5 years! Alexa first started at the Rec as a Chameleon Teacher in the ECC and then joined the ASP program. What Alexa enjoys most about her job is seeing the children from her first chameleon class, who are now in second grade, grow and become amazing elementary students. She truly loves working for the Highlands community and getting to know all the families.
In Alexa's spare time, she likes to knit, spend time with her dogs, and travel. She plans to go to Greece this fall to visit the Acropolis and enjoy the amazing sunsets in Santorini. Her favorite food is sushi, and her favorite color is purple.
