July was National Parks Make Life Better Month! We invited members of the community to share the positive impact the Rec has on their families. Many community members shared stories about a favorite time they had at the Rec. Here are a few of them:
“My favorite Highlands Rec story is when I went to camp and learned how to swim. I played tag with my brother. I had a lot of fun.”
