The holiday season is here! This is a time for gratitude, giving, and helping our neighbors in need 🎁✨We’re excited to share that Highlands Recreation District is partnering with Samaritan House of San Mateo for a Holiday Food Drive to support local families during the upcoming holidays.

A collection barrel has been placed in front of the Multi-purpose Room (MPR) and at the pool entrance, which the Samaritan House will pick-up along with any donations, on Thursday, December 12. If you’re able, please drop off a few non-perishable food items to help brighten the season for others. Please see the list of highly needed items below. Every can, box, and bag makes a difference!
