October was such a fun and busy month in our classroom, from all the fun Halloween activities and crafts we were able to create. The chameleon’s enjoyed the creepy crawly loose parts, spooky sensory play, and Halloween music & dance parties we had all month long. We are now transitioning our classroom into all things fall and harvest for the month of November.
We will also be having lots of conversations about friendships and what makes a good friend. We will be introducing the children to the “buddy system” which they will be paired up with a buddy. This “buddy system” will help each pair with transitions throughout the day and some daily tasks around the classroom. In addition to the “buddy system” the Chameleons will be creating a “Friendship Quilt” which we will be displaying on the wall by the front door for families to peek and take a look at during drop off and pick up times.
Warmly,
The Chameleons Team
