Meet our new Aquatics Supervisor, Nic Robinson!

A man is introduced as the Aquatics Supervisor for Highlands Recreation District.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Nic Robinson has joined the Highlands Recreation District Aquatics Team. Mr. Robinson possesses over 15 years of experience in the aquatics industry, with a diverse background encompassing non-profit organizations, for-profit enterprises, and educational institutions. He has held prominent positions, including the role of Risk Management Representative for Aquatics at the YMCA, National Aquatic Director at VillaSports, and Assistant General Manager of Aquatics, Sports, and Events at Stanford University. Mr. Robinson holds multiple licenses and certifications, including Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifeguard/Instructor Trainer, American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 3, and USA Swimming Level 2 Swim Coach. His expertise in organizational development, revenue generation, and strategic customer engagement will significantly contribute to the vision and mission of the Highlands Recreation District.

Pool Updates:

  • In January, we expanded our Lap Swim hours to include additional time slots in the morning and early afternoon. We are pleased to observe our swimmers engaging in the pool while socializing with one another.
  • Our Pool Rentals and parties are rapidly approaching capacity for the summer season. We would be delighted to host your events, so please do not hesitate to contact us by completing our form. ( https://highlandsrec.ca.gov/pool-rentals-and-parties )
  • We invite you to participate in our group and private swimming lessons, which are available during both weekdays and weekends.
  • Our Swim Team continues to expand. If you are interested in experiencing a trial session, please reach out to our Aquatics Team for further information.
