Spring Break is just around the corner, and the Rec has two awesome camps lined up this year!

HRD's Spring Camp 2026 runs weekdays from March 30 - April 6, 8:30am - 5:30pm, and includes a wide arrangement of games, crafts, baking activities, and more! This year's offsite fieldtrip is a trip to Boomers in Livermore.

STEAMWorks Chemistry Creations and Robot Factory: Battle Royale is geared up for tons of fun! 

Become a chemist and a creator with hands-on STEAM fun! Explore the world of Chemistry to create fun things to take home each day. Make a bouncy ball and several slimes, build the world’s smallest motor, and do experiments that cause reactions! Use chemistry to make some science fun! Then, build a series of wacky, motorized robots with your very own mechanical engineering kit. Use the Engineering Design Process to engineer your own designs, then enter your robots into different contests and challenges! Prepare for Battle Bots and the Robot Royale!
