Special Districts Week (April 5 – 11) – Stop by and contribute to our outdoor art graffiti wall for "Why We Love Our Highlands Recreation District".  This is a community engagement art project to represent District programs, community pride, and shared experience. Key aspects include:

• Community Co-Creation: Create with residents, allowing community members to contribute stories, handprints, or themes related to what they love.
• A "Mirror" for the Community: Reflects the impact the Rec has on the neighborhood’s identity, showcasing familiar faces or cultural heritage.
• Focus on Positivity & Connection: Celebrate the positive aspects of the neighborhood
• A "Living" Landmark: Boosts local pride.
