I was born and raised in San Francisco until I was 10 years old then moved to South San Francisco and currently still live there with my own little family. I have been working here at Highlands since May 2018 but have been working with young children since 2010. I first began my journey volunteering at a small daycare on site at City College of San Francisco where I also earned my child development units. From there, I started working as an after school tutor for children from K through 3rd grade. I realized I wanted to be with preschoolers, so in 2014 I made the move and that’s where my love for working with children began. Being a teacher has always brought me joy because I love watching how much they grow & learn in such a short time, and there’s never a dull moment!
