EEC News - January 2026

We hope everyone had a restful Winter Break. We were so excited to see our students back in action!
November was a month full of thankfulness and connection! We were delighted to welcome Ms. Amanda back to our team as a substitute teacher — the children (and staff!) were so happy to see her friendly face again.
Our classrooms also took part in a food donation drive, with the children decorating the collection boxes and learning about kindness and community. A special thank-you to one of our preschool parents who visited to read to the Chameleons and Tigers about food pantries and the importance of sharing what we have with others.
Last December, we had our EEC Family Holiday Party. We all had so much fun decorating ornaments, making cookies, and connecting with the families. Thank you to everyone who participated in helping make this event a success.
We are still enrolling for this school year! If you know anyone who’s looking for a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment for their child, we’d be so grateful for your referral.
A quick reminder: The EEC will be closed early on January 16 for staff professional development and will be closed on January 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Warmly,
Julie
