Early Education Center News - January 2025

Happy New Year, Families!

We hope you all had a restful and wonderful time off during our holiday break. We are so happy to see everyone’s smiling faces again.  .

December may have been a short month, but it was packed with excitement and joy! A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for our EEC family holiday party—it was such a wonderful time filled with laughter and togetherness. Everyone had an amazing time connecting with one another, creating special memories that will last through the season!

Our solar system curriculum was a big hit, with the Tigers learning about planets, the moon, stars, and the roles of astronauts, and even teaching the teachers a thing or two! We also had a special visit from Emi's dad, Bryan, who taught the children about Hanukkah and led a fun activity with the Tigers.

In the Chameleon preschool, they’ve been exploring name spelling, the differences between numbers and letters, and practicing patterns, all while showing great teamwork and supporting one another in the classroom.

This month has been filled with excitement in the Monkeys’ infant/toddler room, from our late afternoon walks to the children's growing curiosity about animals and vehicles. They’ve had a blast with construction vehicles in dramatic play and loved the new picture observation activity for parents to stay involved.  .

For January, the EEC will be closed on January 17 for a staff development day and on January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  .

May your winter sparkle with joy and warmth! ✨❄️
