Welcome back, After School Program and In-Crowd families! A warm welcome to 2026!
We hope everyone enjoyed a safe and relaxing holiday break. Winter Camp was jolly, fun, and festive! Kids had fun in a variety of activities including cooking, art projects, and games. We even had an on-site bounce house obstacle course.

In November, the kids had a great time showing off their artistic flair making Thanksgiving crafts. During the Thanksgiving week they enjoyed a variety of daily activities from games to creative art projects and even a little cooking fun.

Friendly Reminders

• All childcare closed on January 19  in observance of MLK Day.
• Registration for ASP/IC 2026-2027 will begin on January 6th for Highlands residents.
• On January 20th, currently enrolled non-residents families will be placed in a lottery system. 
• On February 2nd, new non-resident families will be placed in a lottery system.

We are currently in cold and flu season; please remind your children about healthy habits like covering their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing and washing hands for at least 20 seconds.  If your child will not be attending ASP due to illness, please email Mike at Mikek@highlandsrec.ca.gov.
