The heaters are fixed! The heat exchangers have been cleaned and the heaters are back to running normally! Pool temperatures will consistently be between 83-85 degrees until summer, when we lower the pool temperature to 81-82 degrees to make the pool more refreshing in the summer heat. Thank you all for your patience and we hope to see you all back at the pool soon!

Look for new programs in 2023!

Now that the heaters have been fixed, we are focused on expanding the programs the pool will offer. In January, we will begin a search for a Water Exercise Instructor and bring back our afternoon Water exercise program. We will also plan to start a pre-competitive swimming program to prepare young swimmers for the rigors of being on a Swim Team. Keep an eye on our website to see when that program will begin.

Winter Activities (Now that the water is definitely warmer!)

While winter is a time to usually stay indoors, our heated pool is always a great alternative to work out. If it’s a rainy day, why run in the rain when you can swim in the rain! (Plus your clothes stay dry!) We will have our usual lap swim and rec swim times throughout the winter, except for the closures listed in the next section.

Winter Closures

The pool will be closed for the following dates in January:

Sunday, January 1- New Year’s Day

Monday, January 16- MLK Holiday
