After School Program (ASP)ASP kids had a great time celebrating Easter and Earth Day in April. For Easter, the kids got to dye easter eggs and created easter bunny masks. Earth day was also a blast! The kids planted flowers on the pathway and planted pumpkins seeds in the pumpkin patch. We talked about how we can help to protect our earth and make it a better place to live.
Eggstravaganza Event RecapSaturday, April 16th saw the return of the Highlands Rec annual Eggstravaganza event. A special thank you to CalFire Station 17 for bringing the Easter Bunny to the event. Twinkie Dee Star was also there, twisting up wonderful balloon creations. Thank you to all who attended and participated in the egg hunts. It was nice to see familiar and new faces! We hope you enjoyed the event!
