Dear Highlands Community Members,

Join us for the last Food Truck Night of the summer on Friday, August 19th from 4-7 pm. Enjoy three different food trucks, family friendly games, and live music in the Highlands Rec parking lot. After a tasty dinner with friends, bring the kids to the pool for Family Swim Night!

Thursday, August 4th will be the last Adult Open Gym Basketball Night of the summer. Highlands Residents 18 years and older, and their guests, can stop by the gym from 6-9pm to shoot hoops and play pick-up games! There is no cost, but proof of residency will be required. No registration necessary.

Fall Registration is here! There are lots of new enrichment class offerings, such as Balloon Twisting, Basketball Training for 8-14 year olds, Let’s Get Crafting, and Adult Calligraphy.  We are also offering popular favorite classes like Acting, Hip-Hop, Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts, and Tot Ninja Warriors. Summer camp has been packed with fun activities! We had a water slide and the game truck visit us on our Thursday fun days. We have been enjoying tons of water play and swimming.  

It's really hard to believe that all of our summer programming will end on Sunday, August 14th. It has been a great summer and also really nice to see a lot of you coming back to use the pool!

Are you looking for a reliable, spacious place to host a holiday gathering, birthday party, or baby shower? The Highlands Rec Multipurpose Room (MPR) and Gym are available for rentals now! The MPR can accommodate up to 60 guests, while the Gym can allow up to 100 people.  Each rental includes tables, chairs, and a building attendant.
