Event UpdatesThe Rec’s first Food Truck event was a huge success! On July 16th, the Rec hosted The Waffle Roost food truck, who sold completely out of their chicken and waffles, thanks to all of you! HRD Staff Spotlight - Colleen HahnThis month, Highlands Recreation District would like to shine a spotlight on Colleen Hahn! She is an early education teacher in the Tiger classroom. She is also the Curriculum Coordinator for the Early Education Center (EEC). Colleen began working in the EEC in 2019.
After School Program (ASP)Summer camp has been packed with fun activities! We had a rock wall and snake show visit us on our Thursday fun days. The kids got a chance to see the snakes up close and hold them if they chose to. We have also enjoyed water play and swimming.
