EEC July Newsletter

Hello EEC Families!
We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that came to our end of the year graduation celebration on the 17th! After two long years, we were so happy to be able to be able to properly end the year and celebrate our graduates who are off to TK and Kindergarten. The ceremony was a big hit with the graduates as they walked across the “stage” while everyone cheered and clapped. We also honored two of our teachers, Miss Kim and Miss Ariana, for their 10-year work anniversary! It’s not very often that you see early childhood educators as dedicated as these two are to the center and the community. We ended our celebration with some fun entertainment by Superhero Drea from The Dream Top company. The children had so much fun interacting, laughing and dancing with her. We could not be happier with how the event turned!
It was so nice to have everyone gather and to be able to welcome our community back to the school. We look forward to having more events like this in the coming school year that will strengthen our relationships with all of our families. Be on the lookout for an updated calendar with these added events in the next few months!
If you haven’t gotten the chance, check out the EEC’s portion of the Rec eNews. It’s a great topic on how to help children with saying goodbye. As we begin our new school year and new children are entering our program, we tend to see an uptick in tough goodbyes. It’s completely normal, but we have laid out some tips and tricks to help with these types of transitions. It can also help in situations where you are leaving your children with a babysitter or having to say goodbye for a business trip.
Thank you to all the EEC families for making the 21-22 school year amazing! We are sad to say goodbye to those that are leaving but are excited to meet the new families coming in! On to the next year!
Thanks for reading!
