Hi my name is Caitlin Tanaka. I am from San Jose, California. I started my Early Childhood Education at West Valley College working at their outdoor play-based child center. After graduating with my associates, one of my head teachers connected me to the Highlands Rec Center. I am continuing my education at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State East Bay and I can’t wait to learn more about human development. I am excited to watch your children progress through the years and help guide them on their journey.  My favorite part of working with children is learning new concepts from them! As we investigate new topics and interests, it creates lively discussions and we learn so much from one another. It is amazing to watch children take the same object and create so many different things with it each and every day.
